The 25 year old actor Orlando bloom was born in canterbury in kent. When he was 16 he joined the national youth theater. His screen debut was in the film wilde where he played a rentboy. He got the call saying that he had been cast in the role of Legolas just a few days before graduating from guildhall. Since then he as made numerous t.v appearances and been in the british drama series 'midsommer murders.' At the moment he is filming a new film in australia with heath ledger 'ned kelly.'

Viggo Mortensen (aragorn) is a reletively unknown actor although he is starred in many film such as
28 days and a perfect murder. As well as being a very talented actor he is also an artist and a poet. He can speak three languages fluently.
We also love the two previously unknown actors Billy boyd (pippin) from scotland and Domanic monaghan (Germany) who although born in Germany has lived most of his life in England.
